Within the body of Erciyes University, there are 42 Research Centers that can conduct interdisciplinary studies. For example, the Türkovac vaccine, known as the domestic vaccine for Covid-19, was developed by the Erciyes University Vaccine Research and Development Application and Research Center.
Software Engineering Department has Erasmus+ pre-admission agreements with 26 universities, and agreements with 21 universities have been officially completed. As the Software Engineering Department, we care about our students gaining overseas experience, so we encourage all our students to study abroad for at least 6 months within the scope of the Erasmus+ program. The education language of the Software Engineering Department is 100% English. (According to the law numbered 2547, Turkish Language, Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution, Occupational Health and Safety courses must be given in Turkish.)
The student quota of the Software Engineering Department is 40 people.
It was decided that the Software Engineering Department would apply for MÜDEK accreditation. In order to start accreditation process, our department must have its first graduates.
The Software Engineering academic staff is supported by the staff of other well-established engineering departments at the Faculty of Engineering at Erciyes University.
