Making an explanation about the success of Erciyes Technopark, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış said: “As a result of the Technology Development Zones Performance Index of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Erciyes Technopark has proven the continuity of its success by taking place in the top 10 in the ranking of all Technoparks for the last 6 years if we do not count the performance index that could not be held last year due to the pandemic. In order to be a country that develops its own technology, we, as Erciyes University, are trying to improve our studies further just like the valuable actors of the ecosystem. In order to commercialize scientific knowledge and transform it into value-added products and technologies, Erciyes University and Erciyes Technopark implement important projects together. More than 1400 qualified personnel work and 362 R&D projects are actively carried out in Erciyes Technopark, where more than 260 technology-based R&D companies operate. Erciyes Technopark, which has reached a total of 1613 R&D projects and an R&D turnover exceeding 1 billion TL since its establishment, continues to take firm steps forward towards becoming the technology base of growing Turkey. In these days when we begin to see the outputs of the support we give to the development of the ecosystem and understand the importance of developing domestic technology, we, as Erciyes University, will continue to contribute more to the National Economy by increasing the number of studies we have carried out and supported together with Erciyes Technopark so far.”
