The results of the “2022 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)” prepared by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy have been announced. 6, including the number of alumni and staff who won Nobel prizes and branch medals, the number of qualified researchers in the Clarivate Analytics HighlyCitedResearchers database, the number of articles published in Nature and Science journals, the number of articles in the SCI-Expanded and SSCI indexes, and the academic performance per capita of the institution. More than 2500 universities were evaluated in the ranking system, which evaluates by category, and the ranking results of the top 1000 universities were published. Our university achieved a significant success in this ranking and took place among 11 universities that entered this ranking. Our university shared the 6th place in the national ranking, along with Middle East Technical University, Istanbul Technical University, Ege University, Gazi University and Fırat University.
